Anniversaries are always an important time to reflect on past achievements. As we mark the 50th year of operations for GolinHarris, we certainly have a lot to celebrate! The agency has come a long way since its establishment in 1956.
But anniversaries are also a time to look positively to the future. That’s why we have themed our anniversary around the “Next 50 Years”. It’s been a great opportunity to take stock of where the communications industry is today and do some crystal ball gazing about where it may take us and our clients in the coming years. It’s also led us to invest in a range of exciting new service offerings and products that will help us stay ahead of the curve in the communications business of tomorrow.
Globally we might be 50 years old, but here in Asia Pacific we are only in our sixth year. Since we first established in the region in 2000, all markets have collaborated to grow the GH brand to heights that many may not have thought possible in such a short time.
Growth is a word that we use a lot at GolinHarris—and that’s not just because it begins with a “G” and ends with an “H”! For growth is the very lifeblood of our business.
We’ve made a couple of significant moves in recent weeks to accelerate our growth path in Asia Pacific by strengthening our geographic footprint across the region. We’ve established a new greater China management structure to achieve greater scale and synergies in our service offering, especially in the rapidly expanding and evolving mainland China market. Further south, we’ve announced plans to open an office in Indonesia after being active in this market on a “remote” basis for several years. Read more about both these initiatives inside.
Having our people located where our clients need us is an important element of our growth strategy. But consistently excelling with great work is even more important. I’m continually delighted and impressed by the quality, creativity and professionalism of our client service teams across the region. Some of our proudest and most recent work is showcased in Breakthrough—read on to find out more!
