It's
somewhat hard to believe we're nearing the end of another year - a
successful one for GolinHarris in Asia Pacific. During 2005, we have
focused our efforts on strengthening key client relationships by developing
and implementing great campaigns that help our clients build trust
among stakeholders in their brands, products and services.
That's why as a consultancy we place importance in public relations
industry awards - not just because we like winning awards (which of
course is always very nice!), but because winning represents an endorsement
by our industry peers that we are doing client work of the highest
standard.
The recent Asia Pacific PR Awards, held in Hong Kong, were noteworthy
in at least two respects. Firstly, the five client campaign awards
for GH were shared across no less than three offices, Hong Kong, Singapore
and Taiwan - a strong indication that client work is consistently
high quality across the region. Secondly, GH had two of the three
finalists in the Young PR Professional of the Year Category including
the winner, Marie Loh from Singapore. This is the second time in three
years that a GH staffer has won this highly prestigious accolade,
a clear indication of our commitment to identify and nuture young
PR talent.
GH Asia Pacific also excelled in our recent Golin Awards, which puts
the best in Asia Pacific up against the best client work across the
global GH network.
Our success in such competitions is driven by the quality of our client
work. In this edition of Breakthrough, we showcase some more of the
great work we are doing for our valued clients around the region -
which may feature in future award ceremonies!
Finally, on behalf of everyone at GolinHarris, may we extend our very
best wishes for the forthcoming festive season to you, your family
and friends.
