Welcome
to the latest edition of Breakthrough, the GolinHarris Asia Pacific
newsletter. It's been almost 12 months since we embarked on producing
a newsletter for our staff, clients and partners and this is the fourth
issue we've compiled. Since launching Breakthrough, we've had lots
of great feedback from readers from around the world who are now better
informed about the exciting potential of the public relations industry
in our region and the "breakthrough" work we are undertaking
for our valued clients.
In recent months, we've developed and implemented some exciting client
initiatives, including the Dove 'Real Beauty' campaign in China and
a global launch for Sony Ericsson in Singapore. We've also been involved
with some high profile people - including US Senator John D Rockefeller's
visit to Taiwan and Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang's recent
election campaign.
As a firm, we are also focusing more in the area of internal communications,
including through the establishment of a dedicated employee communications
expertise branded as Insidedge. In the Industry Insight section, we
share some of our current thinking in this important and growing area
of public relations.
